Flurosurfactants:
Fluorosurfactants are additives which have very strong surface activities stemming from the properties of the fluorine atom. As an excellent leveling agent, they contribute to thin film coatings, high speed coatings, precision coatings and various other coatings. They also provide wettability, penetrability, PTFE dispersibility, pigment dispersion stability and various other surface activities.
KEY FUNCTIONS: Leveling: Coating with flat surface, prevention of coating defects Wettability: Penetrability, surface tension reduction Dispersion stabilization: PTFE dispersibility, pigment dispersion stabilization Other function: Anti-diffusion, improved molding, fibre and textile surface processing
FEATURES: Drastic reduction of surface tension Excellent leveling properties and wettability Effective with only small quantities Effective in both aqueous and non-aqueous systems

Surface Modifiers:
Additives which can modify properties of solid surface formed by coating or molding with a small amount of additive are called surface modifiers. We also have a range of fluorosurfactants that act as surface modifiers based on the properties of the fluorine atom. These can provide water repellency, oil repellency, stain guard, anti-blocking and low friction properties to solid surfaces. For example, it is difficult to provide oil repelling (except fluorochemical-based), therefore fluorochemical surface modifiers are useful for uses of oil stain guard etc.
FEATURES: Strong water repellency Excellent oil and organic solvent repellency Various stain guard and release Possible improved coatability

UV Curable Hard-coatings, with Stain Guard and Release
A UV curable hard coating with excellent stain guard properties and anti-wear properties. Unevenly distributing and fixing of perfluoroalkyl group to the coating surface resolve the "bleed out" problems of surface modifiers that result in reduced stain resistance, and thus provide long-lasting stain guard and release properties.
FEATURES: Stain guard properties Stain release properties (cleanability) Long-lasting stain resistance Wide range of product-design for various applications UV curable even under air Excellent coating performance
