Sulfur Chemicals
DIC’s Sulfur Chemicals started with the production of sulfurized oil in the 1960’s.
In the 1980’s DIC was the only company producing successfully sulfurized lard with light colour and mild odor in Japan.
Nowadays we are supplying high performance EP additives throughout the whole world, emphasizing on ECO-friendly developments, higher performance and safer EP-additives by using cutting-edge technologies.
Fluorochemicals
Based on the unique characteristics of the fluorine atom, fluorochemicals are chemical products with properties that cannot be found in other organic compounds.
DIC Corporation has various fluorochemicals, including fluorosurfactants with excellent leveling properties.

Metal Carboxylates
Metal Carboxylates (metallic soaps) are substances with chemical bonds between metals and long-chain fatty acids. The performance of each metal carboxylate is determined by the character of the component metal. This specific chemical bonding effects electrical charge to get easily alterable. The resulting charge transfer is the main feature of metal carboxylates.
Comparing to soaps (Alkali metal salts and long chain fatty acids) metal carboxylates are not soluble in water, but soluble in organic solvents.
Alkylphenols
Alkylphenols are reaction products of phenol with branded olefines. DIC is producing many different alkylphenoles for applications like herbicides, fragrances, polymeradditives, antioxidants and many more.

Plasticizer
Plasticizers are main auxiliary components among several other materials.
DIC is developping many kind of plasticizers which meet our customers' needs.
Main types are Trimellitate & Pyromellitate Plasticizers as well as Polyester Plasticizers known under the brandname of Monocizer and Globinex.
