Daicure SD-661 and SD-645 are qualified, approved and used by many major DVD manufacturers in the world for the application of DVD-5, 10 and DVD-9 with Gold or Silicon semi-reflective layers.

Water droplets phenomenon

It is known that water droplets are generated in between gold semi-reflective layer and polycarbonate after cooling down the disc from chamber conditions (e.g. 80°C, 80%RH, 96 hrs.).

SD-661 and SD-645 are designed to prevent this phenomenon.
