Key technologies for DVD-ROM

• Cure at over 350nm wavelength UV (Polycarbonate cuts less than 300nm wavelength)
• Cure with small UV energy (especially DVD-10 or double side sputtered DVD-5) because Al layer cuts most of UV.
• Excellent adhesion to both L0 (Au, Si, AgX) and L1 (Al).

Most DVD-ROM manufacturers are changing their target material of DVD-9 semi-reflective layer from Gold to Silicon or Silver-Alloy (AgX) because of big price increase of Gold.
